Yatadera Narumi

Narumi Yatadera is a character in the Touhou Project series, first appearing as the Stage 4 boss in Touhou 16: Hidden Star in Four Seasons. She was originally a Jizo statue in the Forest of Magic, but gained life through the forest's magic and became a magician. Narumi is introverted and does not like going out, but she is very sensitive to magic. During the Four Seasons Incident, she felt an unusual surge of magic within herself, but didn't investigate the cause. She is acquainted with Marisa Kirisame, and after learning that Okina Matara was the mastermind, she helped Marisa with a plan to counter her. Narumi possesses the magical ability to manipulate life, which she uses to control her danmaku. Her appearance is characterized by her long black braids, dark brown eyes, and a snow-covered conical straw hat. Her outfit also has features of a Jizo statue, including a capelet with the phrase "ultimate attainment of Buddhahood" and red socks with black sandals. In Violet Detector, she reappears as a dream resident with a slightly different personality, displaying jealousy and aggressiveness.
