Komakusa Sannyo

Komakusa Sannyo, also known as Madame Komakusa, is a character from the Touhou Project series, debuting as the Stage 3 midboss and boss in Touhou 18, Unconnected Marketeers. She is a Yamajorou who resides in the highlands of Youkai Mountain and operates a gambling den, mainly catering to tengu, yamawaro, and kappa. Sannyo Komakusa has the ability to control people's minds with her tobacco smoke, which she uses to calm down patrons and prevent chaos in her den. Her den is described as a refined social gathering place, thanks to the atmosphere created by the smoke. She enjoys smoking and uses natural tobacco from Youkai Mountain, which has various effects like calming or invigorating. Sannyo Komakusa's character design features a purple ponytail, yellow bow, red eyes, and an elaborate red top with a multi-layered skirt and gold embellishments, reflecting her noble status. She also has interactions with the Moriya Shrine, where she expresses dissatisfaction at being called a 'mountain cop' by Sanae Kochiya. In Unconnected Marketeers, she shows a keen interest in the sudden appearance of ability cards, seeing them as a new gambling theme.
