Tenkyuu Chimata (天弓 千亦, Tenkyuu Chimata) is a character in the Touhou Project series, debuting as the Stage 6 boss in Touhou Kouryuudou ~ Unconnected Marketeers. She is a god with the ability to let others relinquish ownership. Chimata is the god of special event marketplaces, and her power is closely tied to physical markets. Due to the rise of online trading, her power has been diminishing. To regain her strength, she collaborates with Megumu Iizunamaru to establish a special market in Gensokyo, using ability cards to gain faith through trade. Chimata is characterized by her self-assured nature, believing humanity cannot survive without her, and she is disgusted by those who break market rules. She insists that trade must follow strict rules rather than pursuing profit. In the story of Unconnected Marketeers, she clashes with the protagonists and is ultimately defeated. Her design is inspired by the Ichigami, gods of marketplaces in Japanese folklore, and her name, "Tenkyuu," means rainbow, while "Chimata" signifies crossroads, symbolizing the public nature of markets. Her outfit design highlights the rainbow theme, featuring patchwork fabrics in rainbow colors.
