Mitsugashira Enoko

Mitsugashira Enoko is a character who debuts in the Touhou Project game *Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost*. She is an immortal yamainu (a type of wolf spirit) with the ability to manipulate traps. Enoko has a cheerful personality and loyally follows Saki Kurokoma's orders, while also developing a sense of friendship and admiration for Marisa Kirisame. Once an old beast in the Forest of Magic, she became immortal after eating the flesh of the monk Zanmu, who cursed her. She later gained power after being guided by Zanmu to devour a precious gem. Initially tasked by Zanmu to devour animal spirits on the surface, she was persuaded by Saki to become the commander of the Keiga Family's surface team. She fights using bear traps attached to her wrists that open and close with her hand movements. Enoko demonstrates strong fighting capabilities and trap manipulation, interacting with many characters. Her name "Mitsugashira" (three heads) is likely derived from the Cerberus and her three tails, and "Enoko" which sounds like "puppy" in Japanese and reflects her yamainu identity.
