Syameimaru Aya，Shameimaru Aya

Aya Shameimaru (Syameimaru Aya, Shameimaru Aya) is a character from the Touhou Project series. She is a crow tengu residing on Youkai Mountain and also the journalist for the Bunbunmaru Newspaper. She is known for writing slightly exaggerated news articles about various incidents in Gensokyo. Aya possesses the ability to manipulate wind, making her one of the strongest youkai in Gensokyo, although she usually refrains from displaying her power. She has a clever and observant personality, being respectful to the strong while taking a firmer stance towards the weak, but she is always polite during interviews. Aya has a strong interest in rumors within Gensokyo, often gathering information through observation or from colleagues and then publishing it in her newspaper, even though such information often contains exaggerations. She pays close attention to the movements of the Human Village, constantly observing it in hopes of discovering any potential issues. Despite this, her newspaper has gradually become an important source of information within the Human Village, wielding significant influence over public opinion. Aya's equipment includes a camera for taking photos, a notebook called the Bunkachou for recording information, and a leaf-shaped fan that can generate strong gusts of wind.
