Morichika Rinnosuke

Rinnosuke Morichika, also known as Kourin, is one of the few male characters in the Touhou Project series and the main protagonist of Curiosities of Lotus Asia. He is a half-human, half-youkai hybrid with the unique ability to learn the name and purpose of an object simply by examining it. Rinnosuke runs an antique shop called Kourindou, which specializes in items from the Outside World. He is calm, analytical, and prefers to keep to himself, avoiding arguments. Despite his curiosity, he tends to hide it and feign disinterest. Rinnosuke has a deep interest in objects and enjoys explaining them in detail, even if his interpretations are sometimes inaccurate. He is also a collector, with many items in his shop not for sale. Notably, he created the Mini-Hakkero for Marisa Kirisame, which she frequently uses in combat. Rinnosuke's shop is located between the Forest of Magic and the Human Village, hoping to attract both human and youkai customers, but in reality, his shop is often deserted except for a few visitors.
