Star Sapphire

Star Sapphire (スターサファイア, Sutā Safaia) is a fairy character in the Touhou Project series. She is one of the Three Fairies of Light, along with Sunny Milk and Luna Child. Star Sapphire is known for her ability to sense moving objects, acting like a radar, which allows her to anticipate pranks or dangers. Unlike her partners, her ability is not affected by time or weather. She is often portrayed as the calmest and most sensible of the three fairies, often choosing to flee during pranks, leaving her partners to face the consequences. She is characterized by her long brown hair with a blue ribbon, yellow eyes, and butterfly wings. She also has peculiar interests like examining strange rocks and keeping a mushroom bonsai. Star Sapphire first appeared in the manga *Touhou Sangetsusei* and has made multiple cameos in games and novels. While not powerful in combat, she serves as an important support character in the group, using her detection abilities to assist the team.
