Motoori Kosuzu

Kosuzu Motoori is a character in the Touhou Project series, first appearing in the manga "Forbidden Scrollery". She is a young girl living in the Human Village and works at a used bookstore and rental shop called "Suzunaan". Kosuzu has ginger twin-tails adorned with bells, wears glasses, and is usually seen in a checkered kimono and apron. Her ability allows her to decipher any text by touching it, including foreign and youkai languages. She has a strong interest in youkai books and is considered one of the top demon book collectors in Gensokyo. Despite her kind and cheerful nature, she often gets into trouble due to her curiosity. She is close friends with Hieda no Akyuu and has interactions with youkai like Mamizou Futatsuiwa and Aya Shameimaru. Her name and character design are inspired by the Edo-era Kokugaku scholar, Norinaga Motoori.
