Ivysaur

Ivysaur (フシギソウ), a dual-type Grass/Poison Pokémon, was introduced in Generation I of the Pokémon franchise. It evolves from Bulbasaur starting at level 16 and evolves into Venusaur starting at level 32. Ivysaur retains the blue-green skin of Bulbasaur, but its bulb has blossomed into a large pink bud with leafy green fronds. This bulb's weight causes Ivysaur to be unable to stand on its hind legs, requiring sturdy legs for support. When the bud is ready to bloom, it emits a sweet aroma and Ivysaur will spend more time in sunlight to prepare for its evolution. In games, Ivysaur learns various Grass and Poison-type moves and is a popular choice for many trainers. Ivysaur has also appeared in various forms of media, including the anime, manga, and merchandise, making it a beloved character in the Pokémon series.
