Venusaur (Japanese: フシギバナ Fushigibana) is a dual-type Grass/Poison Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Ivysaur starting at level 32 and is the final form of Bulbasaur. Venusaur is a large, quadrupedal amphibian-like Pokémon with bumpy, blue-green skin and a large pink flower on its back. This flower becomes more vibrant when absorbing sunlight and releases a scent that attracts Pokémon and calms emotions. Venusaur is capable of Mega Evolving into Mega Venusaur and also has a Gigantamax form. It often serves as a representative of Grass-type Pokémon in the games and is known for its strength and unique ecology. Venusaur possesses the ability to manipulate nature, release vines, and in the anime, it leads evolution ceremonies for Bulbasaur and Ivysaur. It is rarely found in the wild and prefers grasslands, where it absorbs solar energy through its flower, making it more powerful in the summer.
