Charmeleon

Charmeleon (Japanese: リザード Lizardo) is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Charmander starting at level 16 and evolves into Charizard starting at level 36. Charmeleon is a bipedal, reptilian Pokémon with dark red scales and a cream-colored underside. It has a horn-like protrusion on the back of its head, narrow blue eyes, and a long snout. Its forelimbs are relatively long with three sharp claws, and its hind legs are short with three claws and cream-colored soles on its feet. The tip of its long, powerful tail has a flame burning on it. It's said that the temperature rises to unbearable levels when Charmeleon swings its tail. Charmeleon has a vicious and hotheaded nature, constantly seeking opponents. Strong opponents excite it, causing it to spout bluish-white flames. It is rare in the wild and often found in mountainous areas.
