Arbok

Arbok (Japanese: アーボック Arbok) is a Poison-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Ekans starting at level 22. Arbok resembles a cobra with purple scales covering most of its body. It has a large hood just below its head, featuring a face-like pattern with over 20 variations, typically including red and yellow eyespots, a black "mouth"-like stripe, and a V-shaped stripe. Arbok is capable of crushing opponents by coiling its body around them and constricting them, even flattening steel oil drums. When encountering an enemy, it raises its head, uses its frightening pattern, and makes eerie sounds. Arbok is highly territorial and vengeful, relentlessly pursuing its prey. It inhabits grassy savannas and wastelands, preying on smaller Pokémon and using its venomous fangs. In the anime, Team Rocket's Jessie had a loyal Arbok, her primary battling partner.
