Nidoran♀

Nidoran♀ (ニドラン♀) is a Poison-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is the female counterpart to Nidoran♂. Nidoran♀ is a small, quadrupedal, mammalian Pokémon with large, spiny ears, prominent front teeth, and red eyes, as well as whiskers on each cheek. Its main color is light blue, with darker blue spots on its body. It has small, toxic spines on its back and a small horn on its forehead. Nidoran♀ is docile and usually only uses its poison when threatened. It uses its sense of smell to find food and avoid predators. Nidoran♀ evolves into Nidorina at level 16, and Nidorina then evolves into Nidoqueen with a Moon Stone. Nidoran♀ is the only form in its line capable of breeding, as Nidorina and Nidoqueen are in the No Eggs Discovered Egg Group. It has made numerous appearances in the anime, manga, and games, and has several versions in the trading card game.
