Nidoran♂

Nidoran♂, known as Nidoran♂ (ニドラン♂) in Japanese, is a Poison-type Pokémon species. It debuted in the first generation of the Pokémon games and serves as the male counterpart to Nidoran♀. Nidoran♂ is a small, quadrupedal Pokémon with a pinkish-purple body, darker patches, large spiny ears with teal insides, prominent front teeth, and red eyes. Its back is covered with three lines of spines that can release potent poisons when threatened. The size of the horn on its forehead indicates the strength of its venom. Nidoran♂ uses its large ears to listen for danger, even flapping them like wings to hear distant sounds. When angry, it extends its toxic spikes and stabs with its horn to inject poison. It lives in open areas like savannas and plains. Nidoran♂ evolves into Nidorino at level 16, and Nidorino evolves into Nidoking when exposed to a Moon Stone. When bred with Ditto, it can produce Eggs that contain either Nidoran♂ or Nidoran♀.
