Clefable

Clefable (Japanese: ピクシー Pixy) is a Fairy-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Prior to Generation VI, it was a Normal-type Pokémon. It is the final evolution of Cleffa, evolving from Clefairy when exposed to a Moon Stone. Clefable has a star-shaped appearance, with long ears that have brown tips, black oval eyes with wrinkles around them, and a curled lock of fur on its forehead, similar to its curled tail. It has a pair of dark pink wings on its back, each with three points. Its hands have three fingers, and its feet have two clawed toes and dark pink soles. Clefable is a timid, nocturnal creature that flees when it senses people approaching, making it one of the rarest Pokémon in the world. Its sensitive ears can distinctly hear a pin drop from half a mile (about one kilometer) away. Due to its acute hearing, it prefers to live in quiet, mountainous areas, which it protects. It also appears at deserted lakes during a full moon. With a bouncy gait, it can walk on water and sometimes appears to be flying using its small wings. According to one tradition, seeing a pair of Clefable ensures a happy marriage. Some scientists believe Clefable gazes intently at the moon because it is homesick.
