Zubat

Zubat, known as Zubat in Japanese (ズバット), is a dual-type Poison/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It resembles a blue bat with no eyes, using echolocation to navigate its surroundings. The insides of its ears and the undersides of its wings are purple. Male Zubat have larger fangs than females. Zubat commonly inhabits dark caves, resting upside down during the day to avoid sunlight, which can harm its skin. At night, it emerges in groups to seek prey. Zubat evolves into Golbat starting at level 22, and Golbat evolves into Crobat when leveled up with high friendship. Its abilities are Inner Focus and the hidden ability, Infiltrator. Zubat is often featured in the anime, commonly used by Team Rocket. Its design is inspired by vampire bats, referencing their echolocation and aversion to sunlight.
