Persian

Persian (Japanese: ペルシアン) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Meowth starting at level 28. Persian resembles a large feline with pale tan fur, black-rimmed ears, and a red jewel on its forehead. Known for its elegance, Persian is difficult to raise due to its fickle and temperamental nature. It is prone to scratching without provocation and tearing apart prey without reason. Its sensitive whiskers detect air movements, aiding in prey location. Persian becomes temporarily docile when its whiskers are grabbed. In Alola, Persian has a regional Dark-type form with blue-gray fur, a larger, rounder face, and a blue jewel. The Alolan Persian is a symbol of wealth and beauty but is extremely prideful, unwilling to bond with trainers and prone to using underhanded tactics in battle.
