Arcanine

Arcanine (Japanese: ウインディ Windie) is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Growlithe when exposed to a Fire Stone. Arcanine is a large, quadrupedal, canine Pokémon that possesses traits of tigers and lions. Its most distinctive features are its orange pelt with jagged black stripes, shaggy beige fur on its head, muzzle, and chest, and long tufts of fur behind its elbows and ankles. Arcanine is known for its fierce bravery and loyalty, capable of running 6,200 miles in 24 hours with speed and grace reminiscent of flight. In some regions, it is revered as a Legendary Pokémon, admired for its power and speed. Arcanine's power stems from a flame blazing within its body. In the anime, Arcanine has been shown to stash food in its mane and bring it back to its nest for its young. Furthermore, Arcanine has a regional form called Hisuian Arcanine, which is a dual Fire/Rock type and has a distinct appearance compared to the Kantonian form.
