Abra

Abra, known as Casey in Japanese (ケーシィ), is a Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It resembles a bipedal fox, primarily yellow with brown, pauldron-like extensions on its shoulders and a fauld-like piece around its chest. Its eyes are usually closed. Abra is known for its powerful psychic abilities, particularly its ability to teleport. Due to the strain of using these powers, it sleeps for 18 hours a day. When sensing danger, it immediately teleports away. Abra is often found in urban areas and can be seen gathering berries in treetops. Abra evolves into Kadabra starting at level 16, which then evolves into Alakazam when traded. Abra has made many appearances in the Pokémon anime and manga, such as in the episode "Abra and the Psychic Showdown" where Sabrina owns one.
