Machoke

Machoke (Japanese: ゴーリキー Goriky) is a Fighting-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Machop starting at level 28 and evolves into Machamp when traded or when exposed to a Linking Cord. Machoke is a bipedal, humanoid Pokémon with blue-gray skin (purple prior to Generation VI). It has a short snout, narrow red eyes, four pointed teeth, and three brown ridges on its head. Its muscular arms have dark red stripes, and it has black markings resembling briefs on its lower body. It is always seen wearing a black and gold power-save belt. Machoke possesses immense strength, with muscles as hard as steel, and can lift heavy objects with one finger. Its body is tireless and it's often seen helping people with manual labor. It removes its belt when facing a strong opponent. In Generation II, Vital Throw was its signature move. Machoke has appeared multiple times in the Pokémon anime, taking on various roles such as construction worker, circus performer, and fighter, showcasing its strength and versatility. In Pokémon GO, Machoke's strongest moveset is Karate Chop & Dynamic Punch. Machoke's design is likely inspired by bodybuilders, as well as certain lizard features. It is a popular motif for sculptures.
