Voltorb

Voltorb, also known as Biriridama, is an Electric-type Pokémon from the Pokémon series. It closely resembles a Poké Ball, with a red top and a white bottom, often leading to it being mistaken for one. Voltorb is known for its highly volatile temperament, easily exploding when startled or bumped, making it a dangerous Pokémon. First discovered in the factory where modern Poké Balls were invented, it is speculated to have been created when a Poké Ball was exposed to an energy pulse. Voltorb typically inhabits power plants and other areas with electric fields. It evolves into Electrode through leveling up. Additionally, Pokémon Legends: Arceus introduced a regional form of Voltorb called Hisuian Voltorb, an Electric/Grass dual-type Pokémon with a wooden-like Poké Ball appearance and a more friendly nature, discharging electricity from a hole on its head. Voltorb has appeared in the anime, manga, and various games, recognized for its unique design and explosive nature.
