Hitmonlee

Hitmonlee (Japanese: サワムラー, Sawamular) is a Fighting-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Tyrogue starting at level 20 when Tyrogue's Attack is higher than its Defense. Hitmonlee has an ovoid body, lacking a distinct neck and head, with almond-shaped eyes on its upper torso. It's primarily brown with cream-colored, segmented arms and legs, three fingers on each hand, and three clawed toes on each foot. The soles of its feet and its ankles have circular, yellow pads. Hitmonlee is an exclusively male species. Its legs can freely contract and stretch like a coiled spring, allowing for long strides and powerful kicks. It is known for its excellent balance and ability to kick in succession from any position. Hitmonlee's kicks are incredibly powerful due to its diamond-like soles, earning it the nickname "Kick Master." After battles, it massages its legs to relax its muscles. Rarely found in the wild, it is mostly seen in urban areas. It has often been seen competing with Hitmonchan or Hitmontop. Hitmonlee's legs can extend to twice their length, often surprising opponents.
