Hitmonchan

Hitmonchan (Japanese: エビワラー Ebiwalar) is a Fighting-type Pokémon in the Pokémon franchise. It evolves from Tyrogue starting at level 20 when Tyrogue's Defense stat is higher than its Attack stat. Hitmonchan is a humanoid Pokémon with tan skin, wearing a purple tunic and red boxing gloves, with purple shoes and shoulder pads. Known for its powerful punching abilities, it can throw punches as fast as a bullet train and utilize spinning motions to increase punch power, capable of breaking through concrete. Despite its strength, Hitmonchan needs to rest every three minutes of battle. It is known for its unwavering spirit and determination, never giving up even in difficult situations. Hitmonchan is usually found in urban areas rather than in the wild. Its name is a combination of "hit," "mon" (short for monster) and the last name of Jackie Chan, while its Japanese name references the boxer Hiroyuki Ebihara.
