Horsea (Japanese: タッツー Tattu) is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It resembles a seahorse, with a light blue body, cream-colored underbelly and dorsal fin, and a tightly curled tail. It has three spike-like fins on either side of its head, and a single dorsal fin for swimming. When sensing danger, Horsea sprays ink or water from its mouth to attack or escape. They feed on insects and moss found on rocks. Horsea nests in coral reefs and compete to create the largest whirlpools. The male Horsea is responsible for raising the young. In games, Horsea evolves into Seadra at level 32, and Seadra evolves into Kingdra when traded while holding a Dragon Scale.
