Jynx

Jynx (Japanese: ルージュラ Rougela) is a dual-type Ice/Psychic Pokémon. It was introduced in the first generation in the Pokémon Red and Blue games. Jynx is a bipedal, humanoid Pokémon that resembles a woman. It has a purple face, pink lips, saucer-like eyes, and long blonde hair. Jynx is a female-only species with no male counterpart. It communicates using sounds similar to human speech and expressive dance-like movements. Its movement is described as swaying its hips in a seductive manner. Jynx's design has been controversial due to its original black skin, which was seen as a racist caricature; the skin color was later changed to purple. It evolves from Smoochum starting at level 30. Jynx has appeared across various Pokémon media, including games, anime, and manga.
