Jolteon (Japanese: サンダース Thunders) is an Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Eevee when exposed to a Thunder Stone. It is one of Eevee's final forms, the others being Vaporeon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon. Jolteon is a quadrupedal, mammalian Pokémon covered in spiky yellow fur. It has a white ruff around its neck, large, pointed ears with black interiors, and black eyes and nose. Jolteon has slender legs and small paws, each with three toes and a pink paw-pad. It generates electricity using an organ in its lungs and low-level electricity in its cells, amplified by negative ions in its fur, allowing it to discharge 10,000-volt lightning bolts. Its prickly fur is made of electrically charged needles that create a sparking noise as it moves, and it can launch its fur when agitated. Jolteon are often found in cities and towns under the ownership of Trainers, but their high-strung nature and mood swings can make them difficult to train.
