Dragonair (Japanese: ハクリュー Hakuryu) is a Dragon-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Dratini starting at level 30 and evolves into Dragonite starting at level 55. Dragonair is a long, serpentine Pokémon with a light blue upper body and a white underside. It has a small, white horn on its forehead and wing-shaped protuberances on either side of its head. Dragonair also has blue orbs at its neck and the tip of its tail. Known for storing vast amounts of energy, Dragonair is said to be able to alter weather conditions by discharging energy from the crystals on its body. Its gentle aura and mystical appearance have led to Dragonair being revered as a divine Pokémon in many cultures. They are typically found in pristine waters such as lakes and seas. Despite their docile nature, Dragonair can be wary and will quickly flee if they perceive a threat.
