Hoothoot

Hoothoot (Japanese: ホーホー Hoho) is a dual-type Normal/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It is known for its round body and owl-like features. Hoothoot is primarily brown with a cream-colored belly, red eyes, and black clock-like markings on its head. Notably, it always stands on one foot, rapidly switching between them at speeds indiscernible to the naked eye. This Pokémon has an innate sense of time, hooting and tilting its head in rhythm at the same time every day, leading some to consider it a divine messenger of time. Hoothoot is primarily found in forests and is nocturnal, resting in tree holes during the day. It evolves into Noctowl starting at level 20. Hoothoot has appeared in numerous games and animations, popular for its distinctive appearance and time-keeping abilities.
