Pichu

Pichu (Japanese: ピチュー Pichu) is an Electric-type Baby Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It is a small, pale yellow, rodent-like Pokémon with black ear tips, collar, and tail. Pichu's pink cheek pouches store small amounts of electricity, but as it is still developing, it cannot control its power very well and often discharges accidentally when surprised or excited, sometimes even shocking itself. Pichu evolves into Pikachu when leveled up with high friendship, and Pikachu evolves into Raichu when exposed to a Thunder Stone. Despite its small size, Pichu is capable of producing a significant electrical charge and can even shock adult humans. Pichu typically live in forests and are social creatures, often found in groups. They are known for their playful and mischievous nature. There is also a special variant called the Spiky-eared Pichu that appears in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver and cannot evolve.
