Xatu

Xatu (Japanese: ネイティオ, Neitio) is a dual-type Psychic/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It evolves from Natu starting at level 25. Xatu is a green, condor-like Pokémon with long, white wings tipped with red and black that often cover its front. There are two eye-like red patterns on its chest and long red feathers on its head. A notable characteristic of Xatu is its tendency to remain still all day, staring at the sun. It is said to have the ability to see both the past and the future, which may explain its stillness – it is possibly due to fear of the future. Within the Pokémon universe, Xatu is considered a mystical creature often appearing in legends and stories. It has made appearances in games, anime, manga, and the trading card game, exhibiting powerful psychic and flying abilities.
