Ampharos

Ampharos (Japanese: デンリュウ Denryu) is an Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It is the final evolved form of Mareep, evolving from Flaaffy starting at level 30. Ampharos is a bipedal, ovine Pokémon with a yellow body, a white belly, and black stripes on its ears, neck, and tail. It has a red orb on its forehead and at the tip of its tail, both of which can emit light. In ancient times, the light from Ampharos's tail was used as a beacon or for sending signals. Ampharos can Mega Evolve into Mega Ampharos, gaining the Dragon type in addition to Electric. Mega Ampharos grows back the wool it had lost, enhancing its majestic appearance, and the long-dormant dragon blood within it is awakened, greatly increasing its power. Ampharos primarily uses Electric-type moves, such as Electro Ball, Charge Beam, and Thunder, and can also use Dragon-type moves such as Dragon Pulse in its Mega Evolved form. Ampharos is a significant character in the anime, manga, and games, widely recognized as a unique and powerful Pokémon.
