Marill

Marill (Japanese: マリル Maril) is a dual-type Water/Fairy Pokémon introduced in Generation II. Prior to Generation VI, it was a pure Water-type Pokémon. Marill is a small, blue, mouse-like Pokémon with a round body, a white belly, round ears, and short limbs. It is characterized by its zigzagging black tail with a blue ball at the end, which is filled with oil to help it float in water. Marill evolves from Azurill through high friendship and evolves into Azumarill starting at level 18. It is typically found near water, feeding on aquatic plants. Its water-repellent fur allows it to swim for long periods and dries quickly upon exiting the water. Marill's tail acts as a buoy while swimming and can be used to anchor itself to trees when fishing in fast-moving streams.
