Azumarill, known as Marilli (マリルリ) in Japanese, is a dual-type Water/Fairy Pokémon. Prior to Generation VI, it was a pure Water-type. Azumarill evolves from Marill starting at level 18 and is the final form of Azurill. It resembles a bipedal blue rabbit with an ovoid body. The lower half is white with white spots, aiding in camouflage underwater. Azumarill has long, rabbit-like ears with red insides. It has round eyes and short limbs. Its tail is zigzagged with a blue bubble-like tip that glows when it attacks or is excited. Azumarill has excellent hearing and can hear great distances even underwater, allowing it to find prey in fast-moving rivers. If it spots a drowning Pokémon, it creates air bubbles to help them breathe. Azumarill primarily lives in rivers and lakes and can stay in the water all day. In the Pokémon games, Azumarill is known for its strong attack and diverse moves, especially when utilizing the 'Huge Power' ability, granting remarkable combat prowess. It is frequently featured in the anime, manga, and trading card game.
