Girafarig, known as キリンリキ in Japanese, is a dual-type Normal/Psychic Pokémon introduced in Generation II. Resembling a giraffe, Girafarig's body is primarily yellow with brown spots on its front half, and brown with yellow spots on its rear half. It sports white horns on its head and pink spikes on its back. Its most notable feature is its tail, which possesses a head with a mind of its own. This tail head has its own small brain but is incapable of independent thought, relying on external stimuli like scents to guide its actions, instinctively attacking when approached. The tail head doesn't need sleep, allowing it to guard Girafarig while it rests. When Girafarig eats grass or shoots, the tail head mimics the chewing motions, though it's not actually consuming anything. In Generation IX, Girafarig gained an evolution, Farigiraf. The name Girafarig is a palindrome in various languages, possibly due to its design with heads at both ends.
