Qwilfish

Qwilfish (Japanese: ハリーセン Harysen) is a dual-type Water/Poison Pokémon. It resembles a pufferfish, with a round body covered in sharp spikes. Qwilfish has a teal-green upper body and a pale yellow underside. It possesses a paddle-shaped tail with a distinctive pattern. Qwilfish inflates its body by taking in large amounts of water, then uses this water pressure to shoot poisonous quills at enemies. These quills evolved from its scales and can cause paralysis upon contact. Despite its ability to inflate, it is not a great swimmer. Qwilfish is known for being territorial and uses its inflated form to intimidate opponents. In the Hisui region, there is a regional form of Qwilfish, the Hisuian Qwilfish, which is a dual-type Dark/Poison Pokémon and can spray venom from its spikes. Hisuian Qwilfish is distinguished by its black upper body, pale yellow lower body, purple lips, and the “q” pattern on its tail. Hisuian Qwilfish can evolve into Overqwil by using the move Barb Barrage in the strong style.
