Teddiursa (Japanese: ヒメグマ Himeguma) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It resembles a small bear cub, covered in short, orange-brown fur, with a light tan muzzle and crescent moon marking on its forehead. It has a round body, short limbs, and a puffy tail. A notable trait of Teddiursa is its honey-soaked paws, each said to have a unique flavor. It licks its paws to calm itself when nervous. Teddiursa can create its own honey by mixing pollen collected by Beedrill with fruits. It is also known to steal honey from Combee nests. They live in mountainous forests, where they hide food throughout their territory before winter. Teddiursa evolves into Ursaring at level 30, and Ursaring evolves into Ursaluna in Pokémon Legends: Arceus when exposed to a Peat Block during a full moon.
