Corsola (Japanese: サニーゴ, Sunnygo) is a dual-type Water/Rock Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It is known for its pink coral-like appearance with branch-like growths on its back. Corsola inhabits warm, shallow waters and requires clean water to survive; pollution can cause its coral growths to discolor and degenerate. It has a small horn-like growth on its forehead, which serves as its natural armament. In addition to its standard form, Corsola has a regional Ghost-type form in the Galar region called Galarian Corsola. These Galarian Corsola are the result of ancient climate changes that led to their extinction, and they appear bleached with a ghost-like appearance, capable of draining the life force of others. Corsola’s branches can regenerate and they grow back overnight. In the Alola region, Mareanie and Toxapex are Corsola's natural predators and they prey on its branches. Corsola has appeared in various Pokémon media, including the anime, manga, and video games, making it a beloved Pokémon.
