Mantine

Mantine, known as Mantain in Japanese, is a dual-type Water/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It resembles a manta ray with large wing-like fins, enabling it to glide on the water's surface and briefly fly. Mantine is often found accompanied by Remoraid, which feeds on its leftovers. In the Alola region, Mantine is a cultural icon due to its graceful appearance and interactions with surfers, frequently appearing on postcards and posters. It evolves from Mantyke when leveled up with a Remoraid in the party, and does not evolve further. Mantine is docile and doesn't mind Remoraid clinging to it. It has made numerous appearances in games and the anime, demonstrating a variety of skills and is characterized by its unique flight and graceful swimming style. In Pokémon lore, Mantine is known as the 'Kite Pokémon'.
