Elekid

Elekid (Japanese: エレキッド Elekid) is an Electric-type baby Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It is the pre-evolution of Electabuzz and Electivire. Elekid is a small, yellow, round-bodied Pokémon with black stripes and a lightning bolt marking on its chest. It has two horns on top of its head which resemble the prongs of a power plug. Elekid's arms are bulky in proportion to its body, and it has three claws instead of fingers. Elekid generates electricity by rotating its arms but tires easily and cannot store much of it. It prefers to consume electricity from electrical outlets. Elekid enjoys thunderstorms and becomes restless when it hears thunder. Its ability, Static, can paralyze opponents. Elekid evolves into Electabuzz at level 30, and Electabuzz evolves into Electivire when traded while holding an Electirizer. Elekid has appeared in various forms of media including the anime, manga, and trading card games.
