Torchic

Torchic (Japanese: アチャモ Achamo) is a Fire-type starter Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It resembles a small chick, with soft orange feathers, tiny yellow wings, and a yellow plume of three feathers on its head. Torchic has a flame sac in its belly that constantly burns, making it feel warm to the touch, like a hot water bottle. It can shoot fireballs of 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit at its foes. Torchic is very loyal and dependent on its trainer, and it fears the dark. It evolves into Combusken at level 16, and then into Blaziken at level 36. Its cute appearance and loyal nature have made it a popular Pokémon choice among trainers.
