Poochyena

Poochyena (Japanese: ポチエナ) is a Dark-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It resembles a small hyena or canine, with a scruffy gray coat, black face, paws, and underbelly, and red eyes and nose. It has two pointed teeth protruding from its lower jaw. Poochyena possesses a keen sense of smell and is known for its tenacious pursuit of prey, often hunting in packs until their target is exhausted. Despite its aggressive appearance, Poochyena is easily intimidated and will flee if its prey fights back. It evolves into Mightyena starting at level 18. This mix of ferocity and cowardice has made it a memorable character in the Pokémon universe.
