Zigzagoon (Japanese: ジグザグマ Jiguzaguma) is a Pokémon species in the Pokémon franchise, first introduced in Generation III. It is a small, quadrupedal mammal that resembles a raccoon, covered in zigzag-patterned brown and cream stripes. Zigzagoon is known for its curious nature, always wandering back and forth while sniffing the ground, and it is distinguished by its unique zigzag footprints. There are two forms of Zigzagoon: the standard Normal-type and the Galarian form, which has a dual Dark/Normal type. The standard Zigzagoon evolves into Linoone starting at level 20, while the Galarian Zigzagoon evolves into Galarian Linoone, which further evolves into Obstagoon when leveled up starting at level 35 during the night. The Galarian form of Zigzagoon is considered the earliest form of the species, and it is more aggressive, often provoking other Pokémon to battle. In the games, Zigzagoon can be found in various environments, and it has the ability to find items. Zigzagoon has also appeared in the Pokémon anime and manga, further contributing to its popularity.
