Beautifly, known in Japanese as Agehunt (アゲハント), is a dual-type Bug/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It evolves from Silcoon starting at level 10, and is one of two final forms of Wurmple, the other being Dustox. Beautifly is a butterfly-like Pokémon characterized by its two pairs of vibrant wings, primarily black with yellow, red, and blue markings. Its face, underside, and limbs are gray, and it features black antennae and a long, curled proboscis. It feeds on pollen and nectar but is known for its aggressive behavior, jabbing foes with its proboscis to drain their fluids. Beautifly inhabits flower-filled meadows and forests. Female Beautifly have smaller red spots on their wings compared to males. In the anime, May owns a Beautifly which she used in many Pokémon contests.
