Seedot

Seedot, known as Taneboh in Japanese, is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It resembles an acorn with a brown body, a beige mask-like pattern around its eyes, and two beige feet. It has a gray 'cap' with a short stem on top of its head. Seedot uses the stem to hang from tree branches, absorbing moisture and nutrients from the tree until it becomes too heavy and falls. The more water it drinks, the glossier its body becomes. It also polishes itself with leaves daily. When still, it can be mistaken for a nut and startles others by suddenly moving. It uses this to be carried by bird Pokémon, expanding its habitat. Seedot evolves into Nuzleaf at level 14, and Nuzleaf evolves into Shiftry when exposed to a Leaf Stone.
