Vigoroth, known as Yarukimono in Japanese, is a Normal-type Pokémon in the Pokémon series. It first appeared in Generation III, evolving from Slakoth and further evolving into Slaking. Vigoroth resembles a white monkey with a tuft of red fur on its head. A defining trait is its boundless energy; it cannot stay still and is constantly restless. It must continuously run and move to expend its excess energy or it becomes stressed. It cannot even stop moving while eating. Vigoroth's heart beats ten times faster than a human's, making it impossible for it to stay still for even a moment. Despite its high energy, it eventually evolves into the extremely lazy Slaking, seemingly an inversion after expending its energy. Vigoroth’s design amusingly depicts a life cycle of sloth, to hyperactivity, and back to sloth.
