Loudred

Loudred (ドゴーム) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It evolves from Whismur starting at level 20 and evolves into Exploud starting at level 40. Loudred is a purple, bipedal Pokémon with a square build. It has a large mouth with yellow lips and peg-like teeth. Its circular ears are supported by short stalks and have alternating black and purple rings inside. Yellow stripes on its back resemble sound waves. Loudred is able to shout at high volumes by inhaling, then exhaling using powerful stomach muscles. It also stomps its feet to build power. Its powerful voice can tip trucks, splinter wooden houses, and blow away opponents, although it becomes temporarily deaf after shouting. Loudred is often found in caves. In the anime, Loudred has appeared in various roles, demonstrating its loud attacks and behavior. It is also a member of the Wigglytuff Guild in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. Loudred's design seems to be based on a boombox with elements of hippopotami and rabbits.
