Azurill

Azurill (Japanese: ルリリ Ruriri) is a dual-type Normal/Fairy baby Pokémon introduced in Generation III. Prior to Generation VI, it was a pure Normal-type Pokémon. Azurill evolves into Marill when leveled up with high friendship, which evolves into Azumarill starting at level 18. Azurill is characterized by its round, blue body, pink inner ears, white cheeks, black eyes, and a black, zigzagging tail with a large blue ball at the end. This ball-like tail is bouncy, filled with nutrients that Azurill needs for growth, and can be used as a flotation device. Azurill is often found near water, enjoying playing and splashing with other Azurill on sunny days. It can swing its tail like a lasso to propel itself, sometimes up to 10 meters away. Although generally docile, Azurill uses its tail ball to attack larger opponents when provoked. Azurill is a beloved Pokémon, featured in anime, manga, and games.
