Nosepass (Japanese: ノズパス Nozupasu) is a Rock-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It resembles a Moai statue from Easter Island, with a blue, angular body and a distinctive red, triangular nose that functions as a compass, always pointing north. Nosepass is a bipedal Pokémon with no visible joints in its limbs and small, circular holes on its body. Its magnetic nose repels other Nosepass, preventing them from getting too close. The magnetism is stronger in colder weather. When in danger, Nosepass increases its magnetism to attract iron objects for protection. It is a slow-moving Pokémon, but can quickly spin into the ground like a drill in emergencies. Nosepass evolves into Probopass. In Pokémon GO, Nosepass always faces north on the map and can evolve via a Thunder Stone or in a special magnetic field.
