Aggron (Japanese: ボスゴドラ, Bossgodora) is a dual-type Steel/Rock Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It evolves from Lairon starting at level 42 and is the final form of Aron. Aggron is a large, bipedal Pokémon with a heavily armored, gray exoskeleton. Its head features two pairs of horns, and its body is covered in metal plates. Known for its fierce territoriality, Aggron claims an entire mountain as its own domain. It is also surprisingly protective of its environment, working to restore damaged areas by carrying in soil and planting trees. The length of its horns indicates its age, and the scars on its armor are seen as mementos from battles. Aggron can Mega Evolve into Mega Aggron, losing its Rock typing and becoming pure Steel. In its Mega Evolution, Aggron becomes even bulkier, with a third horn on its nose and increased overall power. Aggron has appeared in numerous Pokémon games and the anime, where it is portrayed as a powerful and resilient Pokémon.
