Carvanha

Carvanha (Japanese: キバニア Kibanha) is a dual-type Water/Dark Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It resembles a piranha, with a blue upper body and a red lower body, featuring a yellow four-pointed star on its lower jaw. Carvanha has sharp teeth and powerful jaws, capable of tearing through boat hulls and even steel. They typically form schools, attacking anything that invades their territory, though they become timid when alone. Carvanha evolves into Sharpedo at level 30. This Pokémon is known for its strong attacks and unique dual-typing in the Pokémon games and also frequently appears in the anime and manga. Carvanha inhabits rivers, particularly those in jungle regions, and its aggressive nature leads sailors to avoid their habitats. Carvanha's design is based on a piranha, and its name is a combination of words like 'carve,' 'carnivore,' and 'piranha.'
